Money & Mind | A dialogue on financial stress and emotional

Overview

Money is often spoken about in numbers, income, savings, and success.
What remains unspoken is the emotional weight it carries: anxiety, comparison, pressure, and quiet burnout.

Money & Mind is a curated half-day dialogue designed to explore the intersection between financial realities and inner wellbeing. It is not a seminar on managing money, nor a space for financial advice. Instead, it is a listening-led experience that invites individuals to examine their relationship with money, honestly and without judgment.

Why this conversation matters

Financial stress is rarely just about money. It is shaped by expectations, identity, social comparison, and lived experiences.

From young professionals navigating uncertainty to families managing responsibilities and pressure, the emotional impact of money cuts across age groups and contexts. Yet, there are very few spaces where these experiences can be spoken about openly.

Money & Mind creates that space, calm, reflective, and grounded in real human experiences.

About the Experience:

This is a professionally facilitated, half-day dialogue that brings together individuals, mental health practitioners, financial experts, educators, and thought leaders.

The experience is designed to move:

  • from stress to self-awareness
  • from pressure to clarity
  • from isolation to shared understanding

Through guided conversations, lived experiences, and reflective dialogue, participants engage with both the emotional and practical dimensions of money.

How the Experience Unfolds

The structure of the event is intentional and layered:

1. Setting the Context
Opening reflections on money, identity, and societal expectations.

2. Guided Conversations
Small-group discussions exploring financial stress, comparison, and behavioural patterns.

3. Real Voices
Lived experiences shared by individuals navigating money, pressure, success, and failure.

4. Expert Dialogue
A conversation bridging financial well-being with mental and emotional health.

5. Closing Reflection
Participants identify one mindful shift in their relationship with money.

What Makes This Different?

  • Listening-led design: Prioritising reflection over instruction
  • Emotionally safe space: Facilitated, non-judgemental, and inclusive
  • Real experiences at the centre: Not abstract theory
  • No jargon overload: Focus on mindset and behaviour, not complexity
  • Action-oriented insights: Practical, personal takeaways

Money & Mind is not about changing how much you have. It is about changing how you relate to it.

Who This Is For:

  • Young professionals navigating financial uncertainty
  • Individuals experiencing stress or anxiety around money
  • Parents and educators engaging with financial conversations
