About the Event

On 29 March 2025, The Mind Diaries hosted A Date With Yourself at Byterra Café, Hauz Khas, a one-day self-care and wellness retreat designed to help participants pause, reflect, and reconnect with their mental and emotional well-being.

The Experience

 The retreat brought together wellness experts to provide evidence-informed practices that support mental resilience and holistic health:

  • Aromatherapy with Dr Blossom Kochhar, led by Heron Awomi, to promote relaxation and stress reduction through essential oils.
  • Mindful Nutrition with Kavita Devgan, guiding participants on how mindful eating supports emotional balance and physical wellness.
  • Dance Movement Therapy with Dr Suhani Sharma, enabling participants to release tension, express emotions, and foster embodied self-awareness.

    Beyond the Date

    The programme offered participants a structured, immersive experience in mindfulness, emotional regulation, and self-care practices, creating both immediate well-being benefits and long-term strategies for stress management.

    The retreat empowered attendees to prioritise their mental health, improve coping skills, and cultivate sustainable self-care habits. Funding support enables us to scale up such initiatives, expand reach to diverse communities, and create regular, accessible wellness programmes that integrate professional guidance with experiential learning.
